Coding for Teens (Ages 13+)

Summer 2017

Imagine taking any idea and bringing it to life using the power of technology. Imagine creating something that can change the world! That’s what coding can do. Code is the language of technology. It’s easy to learn, powerful to use, and great fun for everyone. Whether you’ve already designed your first app or video game, or are completely new to the world of coding, this camp will inspire and challenge you. You will learn essential skills in computational thinking and coding concepts while getting to work with advanced code and taking an inside look at the world of web development, HTML & CSS. Daily challenges and projects include planning, prototyping and testing concepts such as creating your own website, building an app, as well as designing and coding games. You will work on your own projects, as well as collaborate in teams to achieve a common goal. Emphasis is on bringing ideas to life, innovation and creative problem-solving.
