Strategic Human Resources: Planning, Processes & People

Fall 2017

In this 2-day workshop, participants will develop their knowledge and ability to drive their organization’s strategic goals through current and relevant Strategic Human Resources practices, workforce planning, training and development and total rewards to support long-term business objectives and outcomes with a strategic framework. Emphasis will be on developing participants’ ability to integrate the planning, processes and people to overall strategy and further their ability to drive strategic goals within the organization.

Upon completion, the successful participant will be able to:

  • Select relevant digital and public information to assist in the talent acquisition process
  • Understand how Human Resources can utilize qualitative and quantitative people analytics
  • Devise HR tools and team management processes to create High Performance Organizations
  • Understand some of the current mobile apps available for Performance Management, Wellness and Engagement, as well as their potential implications or benefits for an organization
  • Expedite an organization’s learning process to be dynamic and self-directed for better ROI
  • Start building digital HR, HR self-service and process automation to drive down costs
