Ranking on page one of a Google search results page is critical to being found by potential clients and customers. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is one of the primary ways businesses can increase their web traffic, and higher rankings in search results can lead to more sales. But achieving and maintaining high rankings requires a concerted strategy and a variety of tactics, from on-site optimization to off-site marketing campaigns. Geared toward professionals and small businesses, this course gives you a basic understanding of search engine rankings and the fundamentals of SEO, teaches you how to conduct an SEO audit of your site and optimize your content, and demonstrates how to implement marketing strategies like AdWords campaigns and link-building tactics to boost your ranking and visibility. You will have the opportunity to work on real-life examples in a group setting.

PREREQUISITES: Good computer skills are required. Some experience with basic website administration or marketing is an asset.
