Crime Scene Investigation (Ages 9-12)

Summer 2017

Become a crime scene investigator and explore the fascinating world of biology and human genetics. Put on your geneticist hat and peer through microscopes, extract DNA, learn about fingerprinting, dabble in dental prints, and perform a chemical analysis. Have fun collecting and studying the different pieces of evidence that a scientist needs to come up with suspects and solve crimes. At the end of camp, a crime scene will be set up, and you’ll have the job of using forensics to solve the mystery. Take home an edible cell, a magnifying glass, a fingerprint chart, a DNA strand, and more!
