Wordwork: Creative Writing Craft & Workshop

Just as carpenters craft wood, you will use writing tools and techniques to craft your words. This open-genre course is for beginners and intermediate writers who want to tinker with words in a lively and supportive environment. Through lectures, discussions, exercises, and assignments, you will tighten your nuts nā€™ bolts writing skills (dialogue, point-of-view, and revision) as well as hone your literary skills (style, characterization, and theme). During this workshop, you will develop a multi-genre portfolio of short pieces that have run through the writing workshop process of peer feedback.
