Snapping Point: Learn Photography from Home – ONLINE (Ages 10-14) May 6, 2020

Bored kids make for frazzled parents. But before you reach the snapping point, may we introduce Snapping Point?

The first of our remote workshops designed to be COVID compliant, the two-week Snapping Point teaches kids and teens fundamental photography and composition skills. All they need is a camera (a smartphone will do the trick, too) to join in and start working on creative photo projects that no one will believe were done entirely at home.

MORNINGS (11 am – 12:30 pm):

  • Online lesson and discussion in webinar format with instructor and fellow campers (every other day starting June 8).

AFTERNOONS (12:30 – 3:45 pm):

  • One-on-one online support is available in the afternoon in case campers have any questions, making it an ideal time for learners to work on projects.

24-HOUR ACCESS TO LEARNING MATERIALS:

  • Outside of workshop hours, learners will have 24-hour online access to resources, including tutorials, exercises and assignments via our companion website.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Students must have access to a device with high-speed internet, webcam and microphone, as well as a digital or smartphone camera with the ability to share and save photos.
