Intro to Web Development: HTML & CSS Fundamentals August 3, 2017

Calling all aspiring web developers, small-business owners, communications professionals and website administrators! In today’s world there’s no question that even a little knowledge of how websites work can make a big difference in your career. Discover how to create a basic website using HTML and CSS (“the language of the web”), gain a foundational understanding of how websites work, and how you can make tweaks to your own website and edit websites created with tools like WordPress or Dreamweaver. After this course, you will be able to hand-code a basic website (including changing colours, fonts, creating/updating hyperlinks, adding forms and integrating social media) and communicate effectively with professional web developers. Please bring your own laptop (Mac or PC) to class.

PREREQUISITES: Good computer skills.
