Composition: Hit Them with Your Best Shot August 9, 2019

Great photos don’t just happen. A good photographer is able to build a compelling photo by composing the elements in the frame in very particular ways for specific purposes. In this course, you learn the core concepts of how to frame your shots, including applying the rule of thirds; using leading lines to draw the eye; incorporating texture, shadow, repetition and contrast to add interest and drama; and applying colour theory to capture and hold the attention of the viewer.

PLEASE NOTE: This course will now be held at the CapU Main Campus (2055 Purcell Way, North Vancouver).

This course can be applied toward an Award of Achievement in Digital Photography
