Fees may change due to error and/or course changes. Full course fees must be paid at the time of registration. There is a $20 charge for NSF cheques.
Courses designed primarily for recreational or general interest purposes may be subject to GST.
Income Tax Receipts
Tuition fees totaling more than $100 may be used for tax credits for qualifying courses. Tax receipts are mailed to the address in the student registration system.
Course Cancellations and Refunds
The University accepts no responsibility for the cancellation or discontinuation of any course, camp, workshop, program or class of instruction that may be necessary as a result of an Act of God, fire, labour dispute, or other similar causes, and is not obligated to provide refunds under these circumstances.
A course, camp, workshop, program or class will be canceled if there is insufficient enrolment. In the event that a course, camp, workshop, program or class is canceled due to insufficient enrolment, a refund cheque for the full tuition amount will be sent by mail to the registered student.
Refunds Due to Student Withdrawal
All refunds are subject to a $35 administrative fee per course. If a student withdrawal request is received during the seven days leading up to the start of the course, there is no refund. Similarly, if the student withdraws after the course has started, no refund will be issued.
Withdrawal and refund requests must be made in writing via email, fax, or mail. There is no online course withdrawal.

Transferring to another course is subject to a $35 administration fee. It’s important to remember that once a course has started, and during the seven days prior to course start date, transferring is not permitted.
Motion Picture Industry Orientation: Any transfer prior to the seven days leading up to a the start of the course is subject to a $35 administrative fee. This also applies to students, who are already registered in one session, but are offered a spot on a waitlist for a different session.
Summer Camps Withdrawal, Cancellation, Refund and Transfer Policy
Withdrawing and Refunds from Serious Fun Summer Camps
Each camp withdrawal is subject to a $35 administrative fee. Withdrawal requests made during the one-week (seven calendar days) prior to the first day of the camp are 100% non-refundable. No refunds are issued once the camp has started. There is no prorating of tuition or refunds for days the student is absent.
Summer Camps Cancellation and Refund Policy
Continuing Studies will give one week’s notice to all registered students (kids and teens) prior to the cancellation of any camp. Fees paid for camps cancelled by the University due to low enrolment will be refunded in full and will be issued by Financial Services via cheque in the name of the registered student for whom the fees were paid. Continuing Studies reserves the right to cancel a camp one week before the camp start date.
Transferring to Another Summer Camp
All camp transfers are subject to a $35 administrative fee. There are no transfers during the seven days prior to camp start date.
Note: Your online registration may not be processed if your child’s age is inconsistent with the specified age group of the camp.
The University reserves the right to substitute instructors.
