Alicia is an educator who holds a Bachelor of Arts, and a Bachelor of Education, with a focus on International Education. She is currently a high school Spanish teacher in Vancouver, and has over ten years of experience teaching Spanish to individuals and groups of various levels. Alicia’s Latina roots are Costa Rican.

She is passionate about sharing her love of the Spanish language and culture. She is also an advocate for second language learning, and believes that learning a language can be a great asset when it comes to communication. Travelling and learning about cultures has always been a hobby of hers and she considers it one of her greatest teaching resources, as it helps her add colour and life to her lessons.
