What do we look for in an instructor?
We look for content expertise as well as experience teaching adults. We’re also looking for fresh thinking, so don’t worry if you think your course idea is unusual or unorthodox; we’re open to anything. Well, not anything. If you want to teach a course on how to build a sofa out of living ants, for example, well, we probably won’t be able to help you out.
But go right ahead and let us know about your ideas in just about anything else: painting, computers, careers, wine, beer, yoga, photography, website design, and music, to name just a few. Or furniture upholstering, travel, content management, yogurt, writing, blogging, tourism, chocolate . . . whatever you think might be interesting or useful to fellow humans as they make their way through existence. Existentialism…there’s a course idea right there. See how easy this is?
